Hello fans & friends,

I wanted to take the time to welcome 2011… people would say that I am  a very optimistic and positive person. However I am ready to bring in a New Year, as I am sure many of you are too! So, being the positive person that I am, I would like to bring some attention to things we have to look forward to…

• New Homes & Ideas Magazine went digital. Talk about "word search optimization" & online distribution (click on link below) 
• We launched a NEW division of  our company Social Media Management(Sherpa)to ease that Social Media Monster fear along with saving our advertisers efforts and time! On a broad scope, let us not forget
• “Raleigh-Durham ranked #1 city for investors” according to Forbes magazine. “Ten out of the top-17 areas across the U.S. with the highest concentration of new home sales activity were in the Carolinas” according to data from Housing Intelligence Pro. 
• “The top five states with the best business climates - with North Carolina at the top of the list for the ninth time in 10 years - are solidly southern, and three more are, for a total of eight, in the top 10. 
• The top 5, all in the marketing area of the 21st Century Building Expo & Conference, were: NC, TN, TX, VA and SC.” ~From Site Selection magazine, November 2010.  
• “The Carolinas stick out when looking at the largest share of new home sales as a portion of the overall market”  ~Housing Intelligence. 

So for those of you looking to buy a new home or for those of you looking to remodel or invest in your existing home, you are looking in the right place. Carolina (the Triangle) is definitely a place to call home, take it from this relocated “Yankee”!

So keeping with our “The Triangle, NC being the best place to work, live, play and retire”… by picking up or "logging on" you will discover that in this issue we have provided editorial showing specific to why so many have moved and continue to remain in our cities with our “When Family Follows” and “Making the Grade: School Report” articles.
