North Carolina produced another winner at Sunday night's Grammy Awards the  "American Idol" winner Fantasia Barrino from High Point, NC but currently lives in Charlotte, NC snatched a Grammy as well for breakthrough, winning Best Female R&B Vocal Performance.
The Avett Brothers, also from North, accompanied Mumford & Sons and Bob Dylan for a performance during the telecast.This is great news for Raleigh-Durham and surrounding areas of North Carolinea. This just shows why our area continues to grow and shows value to what makes our area the BEST place to work, live, invest and "play"in the country~all puns intended!
