Having the same look since 1969, the homeowner wanted to add a new gathering room off of the kitchen. The kitchen footprint was enlarged & provided space for an island and a small pantry. With the new layout and increased space, the function of the kitchen improved dramatically. This project won the 2010 Gold Star Award for Best Room Addition, $70-125K.
